Split System Units
![]() A split system unit in a commercial application is very similar to a residential one just on a larger scale. This unit consists of the outside condenser unit and the indoor fan coil unit. Depending on the size needs of the condensor unit it may be placed on the rooftop of a building or potentially on a platform next to the building. The indoor unit can be mounted practically anywhere. Indoor units can be wall mounted vertically high or near the floor. They may be mounted into recessions in a ceiling or even mounted in the void area of a drop ceiling. A split system can represent savings in retrofitting buildings because no duct work is needed for the system. These systems are also quiet and efficient. |
