Residential Maintenance Plans
Yuhan Heating and Air Conditioning offers residential maintenance plans that include scheduled equipment checkups and other service. These plans are currently undergoing a restructuring. For more information please call 201-945-9797. During an air conditioning maintenance visit Yuhan Heating and Air Conditioning will clean the condenser coils. If the coils are dirty it can cause the air conditioner to increase the pressure inside the coils which uses more electricity and lowers efficiency. We will check the refrigerant charge. A charge that is to high or to low will reduce the efficiency of the air conditioner and can cause the compressor to shut down. Keeping the refrigerant charge at the proper level will reduce operating costs and can prevent future repairs. Yuhan will inspect and clean the condensate drain. This drain lets condensation that builds in the "cold" side of the air conditioner that is inside your home drain out. If this drain clogs it can lead to minor flooding in the area of the inside unit and can damage the air condition equipment. We will also inspect and clean the blower wheels. Dirty blower wheels reduce air flow through the system which leads to the air conditioner unit running for longer periods than it should and increases energy costs. If the blower wheels are not cleaned it can lead to compressor failure through the increase in running time. Yuhan Heating and Air Conditioning will also inspect clean and replace all filters that are in your air conditioning system during the maintenance visit. During an annual inspection for your heating system we will check the burner and pilot assembly to ensure that they are defect free and working properly. Inspect the heat exchanger for cracks. We will examine the filter and check the vent piping. Gas piping and other fuel source lines will be checked for leaks. Furnaces will have the fan and electronic ignition tested. As well as having the burner adjusted for efficiency. The belt tension will be checked, the draft divertor examined and the fan motor lubricated. Boiler systems will be checked for leaks in the system and in the condensate removal system. The operating pressure and temperature will be checked. The burner and nozzle will be inspected and cleaned or replaced as needed. All systems will be checked for carbon monoxide emissions. *All manufacturers recommend regular maintenance to maintain peak performance.
